A friend suggested I create a Blog.
The Christmas tree is drying out.
Only the blandest Christmas cookies are left.
Most of the gifts are put away.
But there is still a lot of cleaning up to do after so much company.
And the winter rains have begun in earnest.
I'm thinking of a place that is warm tonight and not rainy.
An island where the air is scented with tropical flowers and families are sleeping with their windows open.
Where the morning routine includes a barefoot walk along the beach at Hanalei Bay.
In a few weeks I'll be there again in beautiful Kauai.
I'll practice with my new blog, then share the sights and sounds of Kauai.
